Voices of Resilience: High School Spoken Word Exchange

Cranaleith Spiritual Center and Bridges of Opportunities are opening the doors of our conference center to Young & Diverse Voices of Resilience on Friday, October 17th at 7:00 PM (doors open to the public at 6:30 PM).
The showcase will feature 15 student acts chosen to represent youth programs from across the Philadelphia region. Pre-registered presenters will be randomly selected to perform through a live drawing, creating an atmosphere of anticipation, encouragement and authenticity.
This will be more than a performance – it will be a vibe!

Young people will be seen, heard, celebrated, and supported.

Local youth organizations will network and collaborate.

Reflection, inspiration, and resilience will rise.
Light refreshments will be served after for further connection.
The points for potential participants to know are:

All presenters MUST be pre-registered (see Spoken Word Registrants link below)

HS Spoken Word Exchange open to all Philadelphia area HS Students
- Each organization/school is invited to bring 2-3 students to rep their organization/school

Presentations can be solo or group poems/stories
- Each presentation should be about 2-3-minutes long on the topic “Stories of Resilience”

The event is open to family and friends to see & support (registration STRONGLY required)
