Patricia Fontaine

Patricia Fontaine co-facilitates Insight Dialogue in a weekly online drop-in session. Her twenty+ year meditation practice is steeped in Vipassana meditation. With Masters in Counseling Psychology and Transformative Language Arts, Patricia offers art and writing classes for those dealing with illness and transition. She’s engaged Insight Dialogue since 2008, and sees relational meditation practice as an essential resource for a deep commitment to climate, social, queer, and racial justice. Patricia lives in Shelburne, VT, where she shares Co-chair for the Equity & Diversity Committee.

Monday Weekly Drop-in Sessions
Open Dates

Drop-in sessions are open to anyone with prior silent meditation practice experience and prior Insight Dialogue practice experience (e.g., participation in an Insight Dialogue retreat or introductory Insight Dialogue course). You may join this drop-in group once, occasionally, or every week; it’s up to you. Session format includes silent practice, a contemplation offered by the facilitators, and Insight Dialogue practice. The Queer Insight Dialogue (ID) Sangha is a two hour drop-in online practice group for LGBTQIA+ identifying relational dharma practitioners around the world to share practice, experience, support, learnings, and care. In addition to holding affinity space for practice, over time the Queer ID Sangha will also offer learning opportunities to the broader Insight Dialogue Community Sangha on how to foster authentically inclusive environments for relational practice. We will explore and co-create anti-racist culture within a dedicated, compassionate community of study and practice.
