Jane Cutler
Jane Cutler has been practicing and facilitating Insight Dialogue since 2008. With her life partner Jane Whitehead, she offers a program of Insight Dialogue evening practice, online practice, day-long, and weekend retreats. She also mentors those wanting to develop their engagement in Insight Dialogue. Jane has had a meditation practice since 1972 and been a zen student since 1999. She and her partner have supported a local zen community since 2003. Jane has worked as a psychotherapist since 1991. She sees the current climate emergency as the koan of our time. Supporting resilience in these troubled times through Insight Dialogue and other skillful means is increasingly at the heart of offering practice. Jane lives in Bristol, UK.

Our practice group meets for 8 to 10-week terms, on Wednesday evenings from 7 – 9 pm. The group is facilitated by Jane Cutler. She has attended retreats and facilitation workshops with Gregory Kramer since 2005 and is an Insight Dialogue teacher. Donations are invited to cover the cost of room rental and to support our donations to teachers in the Insight Dialogue community. Wednesday Weekly Practice GroupOpen Dates
Format of practice: Each practice period consists of related guided silent meditation, simple guidance and teachings, related contemplations in small groups and the whole group, short body care practice away from screen, lead mindful movement practice. Come as a regular weekly participant or drop in when you can. This group is suitable for any one with established experience of practicing with the six Insight Dialogue guidelines. There is a strong and established community core group attending regularly with others coming as and when it serves them well. Online Introduction to Insight DialogueJanuary 14 - March 4, 2026
The Online Introduction to Insight Dialogue is an eight-week offering that covers the six Insight Dialogue guidelines using Dhamma teachings as a contemplative frame. The Insight Dialogue guidelines and the three bases, wisdom, meditative awareness, and relationship, are the foundational elements of the relational Dhamma practice of Insight Dialogue.
