Who Are KRD?

KRD membership is made up of women from Nelson BC and the surrounding area who mirror the diversity of our charming city.  It is important to us that we are a valuable cog in the wheel of our community and we strive to be involved in activities that help our fellow citizens be strong and resilient. Sometimes its planting daffodils near the entrance to the city, assisting with the maintenance and functioning of our free refurbished hop-on-hop-off Trolley or  fundraising for chemo chairs at the Cancer Floor at the Kootenay Lake Hospital.  We participate annually in the Terry Fox Run and The Coldest Night of the year. In February 2023 we participated in the Polka Dot Dragon Lantern Festival. Please take a browse and enjoy.
